With this sync, users can automatically transfer songs and playlists to their Blackberry Smartphone. Currently, it is only available for Windows. Additionally, it does not support video or DRMed tracks.

Just to let you know we (GyPSii) just released an all-new version of our Blackberry software. Readers kindly commented on the last one, and this one's much much improved. Here's the delta:
- Entirely rebuilt software which is infinitely (well, almost!) faster than the previous version
- New UI design
- Easier to use location-aware PlaceMe (photo-based life recording and sharing), SpaceMe (friend finder) and ExploreMe (search and discover)
- Works on 81xx devices as well as 83xx and 88xx
- Manually set location when GPS signal is weak or non-existent

I just got the chance to check out one of those solar chargers for the BlackBerry. All in all: it is very easy to use and it just works!
With just 76 gram it is a very lightweight device and fits into every pocket. I think it is very useful when you are outdoors and don’t have the chance to charge your BlackBerry (or Bluetooth GPS receiver with which it is compatible as well). I can remember the last update to the CDK, one year ago exactly. We started to see some varieties of the new CDK towards the end of 2007 and more and more began to pop up throughout this year. Well, we don't have to wait any longer

 Verdict: Great mobile blogging app, which allows for adding pictures, videos, voicenotes, music, geo-tagging (GPS or address entry) about where you are, what your doing, all from your blackberry.
Pros: This delivers what it promises, unlike other mobile-blogging sites/apps, this truly allows you to blog about an activity, event, restaurant, service, or anything your heart desires. The app allows you to add all sorts of media, to use your GPS or enter an address, and you can publish to other sites like twitter, facebook or a normal blog like typepad. They even have a widget you can embed on your websites (ie Myspace).
Cons: If you add media, the feed to twitter translates it using tinyurl.com (which is probably better anyways, so it's not really a con. hehehe)

 Verizon has announced that select BlackBerry users (Curve 8330, Pearl 8130, and 8830 World Edition) can use their addictive smartphones to "stay connected to their financial information while away from home with Verizon Wireless' Mobile Banking application."
To get Mobile Banking, Verizon Wireless customers with the BlackBerry Curve 8330, BlackBerry Pearl 8130 and the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition can go to the Home screen on their handsets and select the BlackBerry Browser icon to go to the VZ Start home page. RIM patched a critical bug in its BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) that would allow hackers to break into company networks by tricking users of the popular smart phone into opening rigged PDFs.
The fix, which was delivered in several separate updates to BES, addressed a security vulnerability in the PDF distiller component of the BlackBerry Attachment Service, which runs on the BES.
